So yesterday I went to the Couchsurfing Meeting in Helsinki. It was quite nice and I met a girl that offers me a couch. So today I will use this couch and leave my hotel. Also today is Independence Day in Finland so here will be the biggest party ever.

So after two days in Helsinki I can say some thinks.
First of all - this city is a little bit strange. The people a very closed, they don’t smile a lot. What is strange for me I thought only Berlin people are this way, the not smiling, always busy and in a rush way. But I was wrong, the finish people are a little bit the same but more in a sad way (at least it seams to be so). They don’t smile a lot, they don’t rush or are very busy - for me it looks like they are afraid someone could see them. For example today I was took a long walk through the city - with my vacation idiot smile. The most finish people were looking at me like I was a freaking alien from mars. After 2 hours like this I got a little bit nervous and so I asked a girl just if I have something in my face or at my clothes or if I look like a walking mutant. She let me now that there is nothing and hell yeah I was begging her to tell me if there is something. As I explained her my questions she just said: “Oh that’s just because you are smiling so much” What the f***?

As always it turns out that one of the most amazing countries I saw until now has the most crazy persons living in it.

Last night I had my first Couchsurf A/B Test. First victim was a beautiful blonde women, at the age of 20. She was studying Design and Art. I gave here the nice guy, the interested funny, charming one. But she turned straight away from me and showed me that I’m shit like hell. So I tried it at 3 other women and it was always the same. Then I just was the ashole (that I’m supposed to be) and talked to a amazingly beautiful woman. She had beautiful green eyes, black hair and was at the age of 24. What a hell of a woman - she turned me crazy and surprisingly the ashole version does the same to her. So we get it on - at least a little bit. She just stopped it before it was going to far (for her).

Badly I took some pictures but they are all to dark (shitty forest).

Next time better luck.

Oh and I decided what is a Conversion - to get her so far that she stop it or to have sex.

So I’m now in Helsinki, great little city - but amazing cold. Until now the finish people seem to be very closed to foreign people. I tried hard to get connected but many times it was just that trying think.

Yesterday after my arrival in my very strange but beautiful hotel I went to Helsinki City and to some bars. It was mostly the same - couples all around me (sadly).
This was hard but also it is hard to order something to drink in this city - I had to wait more then 30minutes before the waitress came so I could order something. Crazy - but I think the finish are a little bit slowly.
After some lonely drinks I decided to went back to my hotel. At the train I met two crazy and funny guys and we talked a little bit. They invited me for a night walk through the nearby forest. As I am I asked them why the hell I should walk 3 hours through a fucking forest. One of the guys answered: “There are three reasons: First - women, Second - women and alcohol, Third - women, alcohol and you.”

I thought this are very good reasons so I joined them. We met at my hotel and walked through the forest. It was a funny time and hell yeah the women here are beautiful.

So yeah I tried my first A/B Testing Stuff.

So I just decided to make  a Couchsurfing A/B Test in Helsinki.
Easy one:

In Germany many women are attracted to guys with some specifics in their behavior. Like giving a shit about the woman or just to use them like shit.
Usually I just think mostly of the German women are a little bit stupid but after some A/B Testing I know the truth.
They are stupid like hell. (So sorry about nothing)

So I decided to make a little A/B Test out of this in Helsinki.
The first woman gets the nice, charming guy. The next the German version.
In the end I will post the CTR (Click-Through-Rate) and maybe the Conversions.

Your Couchsurfing Host in Berlin

After some mails with the big question why I decided to be a couch surf host, I will write the reasons down.

So to know why I do this, you should know me a little bit better for this read the previous posts in Berlin Adventures.

I am strange person and I am new in Berlin. I don’t want to make many friends here, or to be famous - I just want to be good in my job, good enough to do the things I want to do. So I decided to be a host, to have some open minded people and to pay a little bit back to the world. I’m not the luckiest guy, but lucky enough to know what I have. So it’s in my mind not only a change to get connected to people from all over the world it’s more.

And in the end there is this big question:
Who else would be a Host?

One day I will be maybe a surfer and so I search for a couch - so I try to be the host, that I want to meet.

Crazy?
A little bit.

So that’s the reason of my couch surf stuff.

I just found on this Business Plattform a Couchsurfing group.

So yeah Couchsurfing is everywhere!
